As a former journalist, publicist, and editorial director, I pivoted to UX design in 2016 and then UX writing in 2018. My entire career has called upon strategy and usability fundamentals to shape experiences towards their desired outcomes. As a subject matter expert, I contribute to my platform’s ongoing product development, design systems, and style guides. I advocate for strong collaborative processes and leverage research to optimize my work. Quality and consistency are important, but so is confidence—creating cohesive workflows, demonstrating established processes, and networking my knowledge all help build a holistic, long-term approach to resolving problems within a product or project.
